About UsWe, Thuzar Winn and Detlef Eckert, are a Burmese-German couple living in Belgium.
Thuzar was born in Yangon. She is an English lecturer by training (Bachelor and Master from Yangon University). Before coming to Belgium in 2011 she worked in several Malaysian universities. Detlef was born in Gelsenkirchen and is an economist by training (Master and PhD from the University of Siegen) and until September 2017 worked for the European Commission. Since then he works as a senior industry policy consultant for Huawei Technologies in Shenzhen (China). Our motivation is to promote the language and culture of Myanmar and to contribute to the development of the country. |
